💛 BUILDING OUR SELF-ESTEEM — EACH OF US HAS VALUE!
We believe that every person has their own value, talents, and story. But sometimes, because of difficult experiences, prejudices, or bad days, we forget how precious we are. That’s why we’ve prepared a few exercises and ideas that can help you feel better in your own skin and remind you of all the good things you already have within yourself.
Read through, try them out, and save these exercises — they might come in handy just when you need them most.

📜 EXERCISE 1: MAKE A LIST OF YOUR STRENGTHS
Take a piece of paper or a notebook and write down at least 10 things you like about yourself. These can be your qualities, abilities, hobbies, good habits…
Start each sentence with “I am…”
👉 Example:

  • I am persistent.

  •  I am a good friend.

  •  I am brave because I am not afraid to speak my mind.

  •  I am a good dancer.

For each trait, think about a time it has already helped you.
Keep this list and read it when you’re having a tough day or doubting yourself.

💬 EXERCISE 2: ASK YOUR PEOPLE
Sometimes it’s hard to see the good in ourselves. So, ask at least 8 people you trust what they appreciate most about you or what they think you’re really good at. These could be family members, friends, teachers, coaches…
👉 Example questions:
“What’s your favorite thing about me?”
or
“What do you think I’m really good at?”

Write down their answers. You might be surprised by how many beautiful things they’ll tell you.

💆 EXERCISE 3: SELF-CARE
It’s important to take care of yourself — even when you feel like you don’t deserve it. You matter and you are worthy of feeling good.
👉 Try to take time every day for things that make you happy:

  • listening to your favorite music

  • going for a walk

  • dancing

  • drawing

  • talking to a friend

  • preparing your clothes for the next day

  • anything else that makes you feel better

Self-care also means eating well, getting enough sleep, and moving your body now and then. Your body and heart will be grateful.

📓 EXERCISE 4: COMPLIMENT JOURNAL
Every day, write down:

  • What did you succeed at today?

  • What nice thing did someone say to you today?

  • What good thing did you do for yourself or for others today?

👉 Example entries:
“Today I helped a classmate with their homework.”
“Today my sister told me I made her laugh.”
“Today I took time for a walk and listened to music I enjoy.”

You’ll quickly see how many beautiful moments and compliments start to pile up!
Keep adding to your journal daily and write down which good things happened “today.”
